Nepean is a community school with a long tradition of encouraging its students to strive for excellence academically, artistically and in athletics. Our school motto is ' Play the Game.' In 1931 one of our students Ted Beddoe advised his fellow students in the school yearbook to 'Play the game! Every day in every way! Do it in every little thing each day until it becomes a habit. When you have made a habit of playing the game your success is assured.' During the past eighty-three years Nepean students have taken this motto to heart. Over 94% of our graduates proceed on to post secondary studies. 65% of our 2003-2004 graduates were Ontario Scholars.
